Description

The lenticular depth filter is a sanitary modular depth filtration unit, assembled by stacking multiple lens-shaped filter cells around a central core and installed inside a closed Stainless steel filter housing. The filter medium is typically composed of cellulose, diatomaceous earth or perlite, which captures suspended solids, colloids and fine particles through depth adsorption and mechanical interception rather than only surface screening. Compared with conventional open plate-and-frame sheet filters, its fully enclosed structure minimizes oxygen ingress, product dripping loss and cross-contamination risk. It delivers high dirt-holding capacity and stable clarification performance, widely adopted for vinegar clarification and final polishing before bottling. Multiple grades of filter media are available for different clarity requirements, and the compact layout saves floor space while supporting easy module replacement and CIP cleaning.

Lenticular Filters have a long history in Food and Beverage applications, They arose out of the need to package sheet-based depth filter technology in more user-friendly, modular closed systems, especially for small batch production or medium flow rate applications. Aelt's lenticular filter housing can be suitable for international brand 's filter disk with lower cost. The surface finish totally arrive sanitary grade requirement.
